Join us via Zoom for an In Conversation: Visualising the Shadow Pandemic with the curator of the exhibition 'Gaslighting', Miranda Gavin. 'Gaslighting' was a group exhibition launched by SEAS in January, which explored the lived experiences of domestic abuse at a time when, in lockdown, domestic abuse has increased hugely.
This March, SEAS launches 'The Shadow Pandemic', an exhibition of the sixteen shortlisted posters designed to raise awareness of domestic abuse during Covid-19. This has been shown at the BMECP, Brighton and will now run at the Jubilee Library until 14th April. In this event, we will be joined by four of the artists. Benji Appelby-Tyler (joint winner); Victoria Forrest; James Shreeve; and Dhara Mariani will discuss how they responded to the open-call competition and give insights into the ideas behind their designs.
If you have a question that you’d like to ask a particular artist, or in general, please email Miranda: (mirandamuses@gmail.com)
