Artist Statement

I am a self-taught printmaker with an endless amount of curiosity and creative energy. I work mainly with lino as I find the end result very playful as well as experimental - I love the imperfections created during printing and I deliberately seek these, I think they reflect my attitude to life: “nothing is perfect”.

One of my main values as an artist is the environmental impact of my practice. I use hessian-backed lino (biodegradable), non-toxic inks and recycled paper made out of take-away coffee cups. My inspiration comes mainly from quiet time alone.
